Renewal of our ISO 27001 certification for information security

Proximities has renewed its ISO 27001 certification for information security. During a recent audit by DigiTrust, it was once again confirmed that our way of working meets the international standard for information security.

For us, this is not a formality. Proximities works daily with personal data, sensitive files, and information that only retains its value when carefully protected. That requires not only good systems, but also clear agreements and discipline in practice. Who has access to which information? How long do we retain data? What do we do when something goes wrong? And how do we verify that our measures are still working?

ISO 27001 helps organisations structure their information security in a methodical way. Among other things, the standard requires that risks are identified, that appropriate measures are taken, and that those measures are periodically reviewed and improved. That is exactly what has now been reassessed.
