New Cashless Payment Systems
Orlando, FL (July 13, 2006) - Wet ‘n Wild, Orlando’s premier water park, is debuting a new cashless payment system that allows guests to put their credit cards on their wrists! Proximities, Inc., a leading supplier of RFID-enabled cashless payment and Wet ‘n Wild – Orlando, an industry leader in its own right have partnered to make RFID technology available to over one million park guests annually.
Wet ‘n Wild Orlando is the first theme park in the nation with Proximities’ GO™ technology which enables secure, convenient, quick, cashless payment. The new system will be active beginning June 8 allowing guests to link their credit card on an RFID-enabled wristband and then use the wristband to make purchases throughout the park. Wristband readers are located at all food, rental, and gift shop facilities in the park.
The GO™ system is quick and easy and provides for a waterpark-friendly way to pay. No more having to fumble with wet money and no need to make frequent trips to a locker.
