Premiere Marketplace Nightclub Introduces Cashless Purchasing and Automated Age Verification
Melbourne, FL – June 19, 2006 - Proximities, Inc., the world leader in RFID (radio frequency
identification) payment, access control and age verification solutions for the leisure and entertainment
industry today announced that its GO™ suite of RFID systems solutions will be deployed at The
World Grotto nightclub in downtown Knoxville, TN.
The new system will be active beginning in early July, allowing guests to link their credit card to a
secure, RFID-enabled wristband and then use the wristband to make purchases throughout the
venue.
“The GO™ RFID wristband automatically disables when removed preventing transfer to an unauthorized guest. It provides peace of mind to the venue, as well as, the guest that once removed it cannot be used for fraudulent purchasing,” said Ronald R. Carney, Chief Executive Officer of Proximities.
