Are the GO™ wristbands waterproof? Sweat proof? Sunscreen proof? Alcohol proof?
Yes. The GO™ wristbands can withstand up to two weeks of wear and tear in conditions commonly found at leisure & entertainment venues.

What frequency does the Proximities’ RFID chip use?
13.56 MHz which is considered “high frequency”

What ISO standard does the Proximities’ RFID chip use?
ISO15693

What ISO standard do the RFID enabled contactless credit cards use?
ISO14443

Are the two ISO standards (ISO15693, ISO14443) compatible?
No. However there are dual RFID readers that can read both standards.

Is my credit card information stored on the wristband?
No. Sensitive data is encrypted and stored in a secure database.

What happens when I cut my wristband off at the end of the day?
The RFID circuit is electrically disabled and will no longer transmit a wireless signal, rendering the wristband useless.

How long is the read range for the GO™ wristband?
The read range is dependent on the environment and RFID reader used. The typical read range for a GO™ RFID wristband is between 2 and 4 inches.

How does the GO™ system prevent guests from making purchases beyond their credit limit?
The GO™ system can be configured to perform credit card pre-authorizations that reserve the guest’s credit for GO™ purchases. These pre-authorizations are released at the end of the event.

Can I order custom graphics on the wristbands?
Yes. A minimum order of 20,000 wristbands is required for custom graphics.

How many colors can be used in GO Wristband™ graphics?
GO Wristbands™ support a four color graphic printing process.

How long does a GO™ transaction take to complete?
This depends on the speed of the network but is most commonly less than one second.

Is it possible to link multiple GO Wristbands™ to the same account?
Yes. A guest may link as many wristbands to a single account as he or she wishes.

Is it possible to link multiple credit cards to a single account?
Yes. A guest my link multiple credit cards to cover a large group on single account.

Is it possible to load pre-paid cash and link a credit card to a GO Wristband™?
Yes. The system will deplete the pre-paid cash and then seamlessly transition to credit card spending.

Is it possible to set spending limits for wristbands?
Yes. The GO™ system can be configured to support spending limits on all wristbands or on child wristbands only.

How much does a GO Wristband™ cost for the guest?
This is a venue by venue decision. Some venues choose to charge for the wristband as a premium service while others choose to give it away free. GO™ supports the ability to automatically apply a convenience fee to the guest’s account upon activation. This fee can be used to replace entrance fees such as cover at a nightclub.

Is it possible to tip using a GO Wristband™?
Yes. Depending on the point-of-sale system being used, a guest can tip on each transaction or set a default tip to be applied to every tip-worthy purchase.

Is it possible to give a guest a refund using the GO™ system?
Yes. Guest orders can be refunded through the GO System Management Console™.

Is it possible to make GO™ purchases using multiple tender types?
Yes. Depending on the point-of-sale being used, the GO™ system supports partial tender payments.

Is it possible to use the same wristband at a venue multiple days in a row?
Yes. The GO™ system can be configured to allow a wristband to be reused, or it can be configured to close every wristband at the end of each day.

Is it possible for a guest to obtain a receipt at the end of the day?
Yes. The GO Account Management Station™ can be used to provide a receipt for all of the guest’s purchases. If the guest has multiple wristbands linked to their account, they will receive a receipt for all of the purchases separated by wristband.

How do I close my GO™ account?
A GO™ account can be closed in any of four ways: (1) Disable the wristband by removing it. (2) Time based automated account closure at the end of the day. (3) Individual account closure via the GO System Management Console™. (4) Individual account closure via the GO Account Management Station™.
